Terms And Conditions

These Terms and Conditions tell you the rights and obligations you have. Please read these carefully. You may have other rights granted by law and these Terms and Conditions do not affect these. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

All prices on this web site are correct at time of publishing errors and omissions exempt. Bike Care reserves the right to change prices at anytime without notice.

Please be aware that delivery charges are non-refundable.

Purchasing from Us

By submitting your order you are offering to buy the goods and allowing us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying goods (including passing your details onto couriers and other subcontractors). We will not use your details for any other purposes. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information

We are not obliged to supply the goods to you until we have confirmed acceptance of your order and this is when the contract is made. You do not own the goods until we receive payment in full.

Delivery Charges

All delivery costs quoted on this web site assume delivery to a UK mainland address, due to carrier restrictions this does not include Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Skye, Isle of Man, Isle of Scilly or any other off shore island.

Delivery Schedule

We aim to deliver goods to you as soon as possible, in stock items will usually be despatched next working day once we have processed the order, non-stock or out-of-stock items may take up to 7 working days.

We can not guarantee delivery times, standard delivery can be at anytime of the day, if you are usually out at work then we suggest you have the goods delivered to your work address.

Working days mean just that, they do not include Saturdays or Sundays, so if we despatch an item on Friday on a next working day delivery service you will not receive it until Monday.

Undelivered Items: If we have despatched goods to you and our courier have been unable to deliver the goods due to no one being available to sign for them the goods will be returned to the depot, we make every effort to contact customers requesting they contact their local depot to re-arrange delivery usually a card is put through your door for you to contact the depot.

If however you have not responded to any of these requests then after a few days the goods will be returned to us which will incur an additional charge (£12.50 min). To have the goods re-despatched will also incur an additional delivery charge.

Re-delivery to another address: If we have already despatched goods to an address and then later you wish to change the address for example to a works address, this will incur an additional delivery fee, if the alternative delivery address is outside the original depots area the re-delivery will also incur an additional third party fee.

We urge you to make sure the delivery address you submit with your order is the address you want the goods sent to as changing the address after the goods have been despatched can cost more than the original delivery cost.

Signing for Goods

You should inspect the goods as soon as you receive them for defects or damage before you sign, however this is not always possible and it is strongly advisable to cross out the words "Received in good condition" and writing "UNCHECKED" or "DAMAGED", before you sign.  Unfortunately no other wording is accepted by our carriers and we will be unable to support any claims for damages unless the goods have been signed for in this way.

If you do not sign for the goods yourself please inform anyone who may sign on your behalf about this information.
By signing for the goods in "Good Condition" you will be accepting the goods without damages.

Back Orders

If the item you have ordered is not in stock, we will automatically put it on back order for you. We will always contact you with the option of an alterative item or to cancel your order.

Guarantee 

All bicycles are covered by the manufacturers warranty. However, full guarantee information is provided with each cycle and you are urged to read and understand the terms. If you undertake any unauthorised repair work to your cycle, you may invalidate your guarantee.

Privacy Policy 

Bike Care does not disclose buyers information to third parties. Information is collected through the ordering process, or through e-mail enquires. Information gathered is not used for unsolicited mailing, either land mail or electronic. 

Assembly & Testing 

Bicycles are supplied with a limited selection of tools that may not facilitate complete assembly. In addition to the tools provided you may need to obtain an adjustable spanner and set of metric allen keys etc. Minor adjustment of gears and brakes may be required. To ensure safe operation of your bicycle, an inspection by a qualified cycle mechanic should be carried out prior to riding.

Clothing & Shoes 

All clothing goods including shoes must be returned in a brand new and unused condition with original packaging. We can not accept the return of clothing goods if used or have been tried on in outside conditions.

FREE or Included Delivery

Goods that are advertised with free or included delivery will be despatched to you with the delivery at our cost, however this is providing goods are not returned to us, in cases where goods are returned your refund will be processed less any incurred costs. Free or included delivery only applies to delivery within the UK mainland.

Refund Policy

Firstly, you must notify within 7 days of receipt of the goods if you intend to return/cancel all or part of your order. 

1) Cancellation. if you wish to cancel your order you may do so within 7 days, you will be responsible for returning the goods to us in an un-used condition and in the original packaging. Damage incurred through the use of incorrect packaging will be charged at cost. You must return the goods to us at your cost and we advise you to ensure the goods are adequately insured during any return journey. If you have not returned the goods within 14 days of cancellation or if requested we can collect the goods from you at your cost. Canceling an order may also result in a re-stocking fee of up to 10% of the order value.
Your refund maybe refused if the goods returned are found to be used and therefore not re-saleable.

2) Where incorrect, damaged or faulty goods have been supplied, these will be repaired/replaced to you upon receipt and inspection of faulty/damaged goods to us. It is your responsibility for returning the faulty goods to us or if requested we can collect the goods from you at your cost (subject to goods being in original packaging). Before any repairs/replacements are issued all returned goods will be inspected and fully tested by our returns department to confirm that they are faulty.

Refunds will be processed within 30 days of proper receipt of any returned item less any incurred carriage costs. Your statutory rights are not affected.

None of the above terms and conditions affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
