OUR CHIEF TECHNICIAN

Our chief technician at Bike Care has attended Promech training and passed Cytech 1, 2 and 3. He also holds certificates in DT Swiss Wheel Building, Advanced Shimano Wheel Building, Shimano/Hope/Haze/Magura Hydraulic Brakes and Rock Shox/Marzocchi/Fox/Manitou Servicing.

Send your bike or any part to us for a service and we will repair and return back to you via carrier or post.

STANDARD SERVICE
£35.00 plus parts and p&p

1. Wheel nuts and tightened to correct torque
2. Replace any broken spokes and true
3. Wheel bearings tightened
4. Bottom bracket axle nuts checked and tightened to torque setting
5. Chain wheel and LH Crank - Tightened to manufacturers torque settings
6. Handlebars & Stem - Set in correct position and tightened to manufacturers settings
7. Gear Levers - Tightened and torqued
8. Gears Front & Rear - Reset and aligned (housing bolts torqued)
9. Saddle & Stem - Set correct angle & tightened
10. Tyres - Refit, check for cracks & splits
11. Tubes - Refit or replace if necessary and pump up (punctures must be reported before service commences)
12. Pedals - Tightened & torqued (if we pack your bike to return, pedals will be left out)
13. Brakes - realigned blocks and set up

DELUXE SERVICE
£65.00 plus parts and p&p

1. As standard service
2. Wheel Bearings - Hubs cleaned & replace bearings, check for damage to shells
3. Bottom Bracket - Cups cleaned and replaced bearings (n.a. cartridge B.B.)
4. Headset Bearings - Clean and replace bearings, check for damage to crown race and headcups
5. Gears - Replace and grease cables
6. Brakes - Replace and grease cables, replace and reset blocks

SUPER DELUXE SERVICE
£120.00 plus parts and p&p

1. As service 1 and 2
2. Wheel replacement of cones and spindles
3. Spokes - Every spoke checked for correct tension on tension metre (it is impossible to true a wheel, so all spokes are at correct tensions as wheels do get stressed and bent while being used on the road or trail, but we get as close as we can.
4. Bottom Bracket - Replacement of cups bearings, axle or cartridge
5. Bottom Bracket - Faced for alignment
6. Headset - Replace head set and crown race
7. Gears - Replace gear mechs if necessary and replace block or cassette if necessary
8. Brakes - Replace blocks (if hydraulic brakes, bleed and service)
9. Frame - Alignments of rear triangle checked, rear disc brake faced if applicable, rear drop outs and gear hanger boss
10. Fit New Chain
11. Suspension forks serviced if applicable

FRAME ALIGNMENT AND STRAIGHTENING

FRAME ALIGNMENT
£40.00 Service plus p&p
(Bare frame only)

Have you had an accident on your bike, think it's okay but want to make sure?
We can check the rear drop outs, rear triangle alignment, head stock alignment, bottom
bracket faced, gear mech and boss alignment for you.

FRAME STRAIGHTENING
P.O.A. plus p&p

This service is done strictly on a case to case basis after a full assessment.

STURMEY ARCHER GEARS SERVICE
£40.00 plus parts and p&p
(photographic evidence given of service)

Clean, strip down and replace any worn parts.

Either send us your bike or just the system for servicing

Strip down and clean of lever and callipers, new brake pipes if required
and brake olives, inspection of brake pot, O rings, and replace if necessary or available.
